Who we are:
Creator Projects is a Copenhagen-based art agency. We are a team of curators and creatives passionate about the potential of art to make a difference in society and the spaces we inhabit. We see art as a vital catalyst for dialogue, debate, and the dreams of our time. With this vision, we conceptualize, curate, and develop meaningful and innovative art exhibitions, public commissions, strategic plans for art institutions, festivals, and other private organizations in Denmark and abroad.
Our commitment to supporting the arts and creating experiences for a broader audience also includes running the publishing house Roulette Russe, dedicated to art and artists’ books. Our work is grounded in extensive professionalism, longstanding practical experience, and a comprehensive national and international network. Creator Projects is owned and operated by founder and director Simon Friese.
What we do:
- We work on commissions for both public entities (municipalities, institutions and organizations) and private enterprises.
- We curate exhibitions and public programs for art museums and kunsthalle in Denmark and abroad.
- We develop independent art projects like our mail art project M.M.S. (Much. More. Shit.).
- We publish art and artist’s books through our publishing house Roulette Russe.
- We provide art advisory to public and private entities.
The team
Simon Friese is Founder, Co-Director and Co-CEO of Creator Projects. He has initiated and led numerous art projects in Denmark and internationally, working across public space, institutions, and cross-sector collaborations. His practice focuses on developing ambitious artistic formats and partnerships that connect art with urban development, business, and society.

Director
Marie Nipper
Marie Nipper is Director and Co-owner of Creator Projects. She previously served as Chief Curator at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum and Artistic Director at Tate Liverpool. In 2022, she was appointed Director of ARKEN Museum of Contemporary Art, where she led the museum’s strategic development until 2025. She has many years of experience working with leadership and art, both within museums and in the public realm.

Karen Margrethe Krogh
Karen Margrethe is responsible for day-to-day operations and for overseeing our architectural and urban strategies projects. She has more than 25 years of experience as an architect, as a public developer of urban spaces and as a manager, developing business, organizations and people. She holds a master degree in architecture from KADK.

Jakob Smith Knudsen
Jakob leads business development and is a passionate value creator driven by challenging the status quo and driving growth. He works strategically and hands-on to connect users of the city, institutions, infrastructure, and art, enhancing customer experiences and developing products and places through artistic interventions.

Project Manager
Anne Kruckenberg
Anne is a Project Manager overseeing the artistic and administrative development of the forthcoming art triennial in Copenhagen, including art projects and strategic initiatives. She has experience in exhibition production and holds an MA in Art History.

Oliver Enné
Oliver Enné is responsible for communications and creative at Creator Projects. He has extensive experience in strategic brand development and creative direction. He previously served as Creative Director at Virtue, the agency by VICE Media in London, where he led international projects and worked with some of the world’s leading brands and publishers.

Josefine Laursen

Junior Architect
Louise Bryant
Louise contributes her architectural expertise and understanding of space and scale to a variety of art projects. She prepares drawings, visualizations, and presentations throughout the process, often in collaboration with the artist. Louise graduated from Aarhus School of Architecture in 2025.

Anouk Fischer Andersen
