Musicon is a district in Roskilde Municipality undergoing transformation from concrete industry to a lively creative district with art inside out. The new urban space takes inspiration, both in terms of name and identity from the music and its famous neighbor; Roskilde Festival. Musicon will in the future be housing i.a. Rockmuseet Ragnarock, The Municipality of Roskilde Festival, a Folk High School, housing for all needs, a vibrant commercial life and offices. A creative district with space for new experiments and alternative communal areas.
