Are you passionate about the potential of art to create change in society and the spaces we live in? And would you like to help plan, develop, and realise ambitious art projects in public spaces, at art institutions, or in collaboration with public and private partners? Then we’d love to have you on our team! Creator Projects is looking for well-organized, art-interested interns with strong visual and written communication skills from February 2025

We offer the opportunity to work on and follow ambitious Danish and international contemporary art projects in various stages, from initial curatorial research to installation and execution.

We are looking for two interns, each with their own focus and area of expertise.

Intern position 1 (focus: communication) 

Examples of Tasks:

  • Research, such as gathering artistic references and visual materials in collaboration with the responsible project manager. 
  • Assisting with coordination across different professional disciplines, including municipalities, galleries, artist studios, architects, and suppliers.
  • Preparing texts for projects, presentations, and communication purposes.
  • Creating graphic layouts for texts and visual materials (e.g., proposals, presentations, smaller publications, etc.).
  • Updating the website and drafting press releases and other communication materials in collaboration with the communications manager.
  • Various ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

  • You are enrolled in a relevant higher education program within fields such as Art History, Aesthetics and Culture, Visual Culture, Language, Communication, Media Studies, or Modern Culture.
  • You are creative and can contribute to all parts of the process, from development to implementation and execution.
  • You are thorough, detail-oriented, and take pride in completing tasks to the highest standard.
  • You are skilled in communication and articulate well, both in writing and orally, in Danish and English.
  • You have strong collaboration skills, are independent, structured, responsible, and have good situational awareness.
  • You stay informed and engaged with developments in society, architecture, art, and culture in Denmark and abroad.
  • You are a supportive colleague who pitches in where needed.

We envision that you can work between 25-37 hours per week between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, depending on your study schedule.

 

Intern position 2 (focus: architecture)

Examples of tasks:

  • Preparing mappings and analyses in connection with planning strategic projects, master plans, and decoration assignments
  • Assisting artists with drawings and visualization materials
  • Designing graphic layouts for texts and visual materials (proposals, presentations, publications, etc.)
  • Opportunities for drawings and 3D modeling
  • Conducting research, such as collecting artistic references and visual material, in collaboration with the responsible project manager
  • Assisting with coordination between different professionals, including municipalities, galleries, artist studios, architects, and suppliers
  • Drafting texts for projects, presentations, and communication purposes
  • Various ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

  • You have experience with programs such as Adobe, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or Rhino
  • You are innovative and can contribute to all parts of the process, from development to implementation and operation
  • You are thorough, detail-oriented, and take pride in completing tasks to the highest standard
  • You are articulate, both in writing and verbally, in Danish and English
  • You have strong collaboration skills, are independent, structured, responsible, and have a good sense of situational awareness
  • You stay informed and up to date on society, architecture, as well as art and culture in Denmark and abroad.
